The Honghe Bridge is located in the K109+280 of the Eshan-Shiping-Honghe Expressway in Honghe Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, located in the U-shaped canyon, with low-lying terrain in the middle, designed to cross the Red River, with complex strata, conglomerate, sandstone, dolomite, and a variety of mixtures. The bridge deck width is 28.1 meters, the bridge length is 892.5 meters, and it is the first three-tower short tower cable-stayed bridge in Yunnan Province, which has the characteristics of tight construction period, slightly weathered sandstone interlayer is mostly inclined rock surface, construction verticality is difficult to control, and high pile foundation accuracy requirements. The abutments on both sides of the bridge are gravity abutments, the main pier of the substructure adopts thin-walled hollow piers, and the transition section adopts rectangular piers of equal cross-section, with a maximum pier height of 160 meters and a main tower height of 44 meters. The bridge is one of the control projects of "three bridges and two tunnels" of Eshihong Expressway.
