The National Simulation Innovation Application Competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, setting up tracks such as intelligent equipment simulation, simulation innovative design, and digital simulation of complex systems, and adopts a three-level competition system of preliminary competition, provincial finals, and national finalsThe most authoritative national competition in the field of simulation technology application in China, aiming to promote the deep integration and innovative application of simulation technology in the manufacturing industry and provide strong support for the digital transformation of the industry.
In order to break through the pain points of the industry with a long development cycle and difficult debugging of super-large excavators, Sany Heavy Machinery Mining Research Institute, together with the Digital Twin Research Institute and the European R&D Center, has builtA full-element, high-fidelity, high-real-time digital prototype of a super-large tonnage mining excavatorThrough the multidisciplinary joint simulation technology of electromechanical and hydraulic control and neural network algorithms, the technical bottleneck of real-time simulation model of high-precision complex equipment has been successfully overcome.

This technology is the first to be applied to the development of 400 tons of mines, completing 80% of the program debugging work before the first physical prototype goes off the production line, and completing the commissioning of the whole machine only 2 months after the physical prototype goes off the production line, which shortens the cycle by more than 10 months compared with the previous mode of relying on physical prototype debugging, and has been promoted and applied to the program development and debugging work of a variety of models, which can significantly reduce the commissioning time of the actual machine.
This technology not only fills the technical gap in the field of real-time simulation of digital prototypes with full-machine performance, but also realizes the rapid trade-off, performance verification optimization and virtual debugging of control systems based on digital prototypes, and completely changes the traditional serial R&D mode of "installation first, verification later", and takes the lead in realizing the integrated parallel development of "design-simulation-optimization" in the industry.

This technology has won the Sany Heavy Machinery Technology Innovation Award and the first prize of the country, and has attracted widespread attention at the 2025 Sany Science and Technology Festival Achievement Exhibition.
