Recently, Sany and Prometheus jointly held a PS/SP dual brand 45m in the No. 18 plantPump trucksXiang Ruan, Chairman of the Engineering Vehicle Division, Shen Junwu, Deputy Director of the Process Informatization Headquarters, Jiang Qingbin, General Manager of the Pumping Company, and Torben, General Manager of PromeMind Asia Pacific, attended the ceremony.
The first PS/SP platform parent machine
The dual-brand 45-meter pump truck is the first mother-type machine product jointly built by Sany and Prometheus, which adopts a number of advantageous technologies of both parties, and has the characteristics of full regulations, more reliable, safer and more efficient.
Mr. vonder Geest, General Manager of Marketing at PrometheMiles, said that the first R&D cooperation between the two companies was very successful and that a lot of advanced technology and experience were integrated.
Mr. Chen Tianming, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Pumping Company, pointed out that the dual-brand 45-meter pump truck has effectively filled the gap of Sany's 40-meter segment in the European market, and its integrated new technology will also be applied to domestic product development.
Global pumping R&D platform
In July 2021, the two parties signed a technology transfer agreement, breaking the legal and financial barriers, and successfully launched the global pumping R&D platform in December 2021.
Peter pointed out that Sany and ProMedmind have overcome multiple difficulties in cultural differences, data security, and laws and regulations, and the platform will play a key role in more efficient cooperation between R&D personnel of both sides.
Huang Yunming, vice president of Sany Pumping Research Institute, said that the launch of the platform has opened up the R&D data and R&D business processes of both parties, and laid a solid platform foundation for future collaborative product development and the use of the advantages of lighthouse factories to help Prometheus reduce costs.
The off-line ceremony of the 45-meter pump truck has achieved the goal of entering the European market for all Sany products, and also marks a new stage of technology integration between Sany and ProMed.
In the future, Sany will use the global R&D platform to develop PS/SP series mother machines, continuously improve products, and provide customers with reliable, safe and cost-effective products.
