The Laxiwa Hydropower Station *8981 dam is 250 meters high, the elevation of the first phase of the water storage level is 2370 meters, the normal water storage level elevation of the reservoir is 2452 meters, the total storage capacity is 1.056 billion cubic meters, the total installed capacity of 5 units is 3.5 million kilowatts, the average power generation for many years is 10.223 billion kilowatt hours, and the dynamic investment is 14.986 billion yuan. In 2004, the riverbed was intercepted and the abutment excavation began, and the dam is now poured to an elevation of 2,390 meters, which has met the engineering conditions for the first phase of the reservoir. Laxiwa Hydropower Station is the largest hydropower station and clean energy base on the Yellow River*8981, and also a hydropower station with a high dam of *8981, an installed capacity of *8981 and a power generation capacity of more than 8981 in the Yellow River Basin.
