Overview of Ningbo Zhongshan West Road Reconstruction Project:

The reconstruction project of the section from Airport Road to Changxing in the west extension of Zhongshan West Road started on December 30, and the road surface is expected to be completed by the end of 2016. The whole section of Zhongshan West Road (formerly known as Wangchun Road) is located in Haishu District, starting from Airport Road in the east to Changxing Road at the junction of Haishu District and Yinzhou District in the west, and connecting with the Yongliang Line under construction, with a total length of about 860 meters in the red line of road planning. The design includes the intersection of Changxing Road, with a total length of 920.26 meters, including two bridges and a Baotong box culvert.

On April 27, 2015, the proposal for the reconstruction project of Zhongshan West Road (Airport Road to Changxing Road) was approved by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. The project is located in Haishu District, Ningbo City, from Airport Road in the east, to Changxing Road at the junction of Haishu District and Yinzhou District in the west, and is connected to the Yongliang Line reconstruction project, with a total length of about 900 meters.

On December 18, 2015, the project successfully completed the construction and supervision bidding. After a comprehensive review of bid evaluation users, Ningbo Municipal Engineering Construction Group Co., Ltd. was determined to be the winning candidate for the construction of this project, with a bid price of 64.97 million yuan and a construction period of 330 calendar days. Ningbo Sizheng Project Management Consulting Co., Ltd. is the winning bidder for the supervision of this project.

Zhongshan West Road reconstruction project as the undertaking project of Zhongshan Road comprehensive renovation project, the current infrastructure is backward, the surrounding people need to transform urgently, its implementation and construction to improve the urban road traffic network, improve the junction of Haishu and Yinzhou road conditions is of great significance.

Zhongshan Road in Ningbo enjoys the reputation of "East Zhejiang*8982 Street", which is not only an important traffic artery in Yongcheng*8981, but also a landmark road carrying Ningbo's urban changes and economic and social development. The renovation of Zhongshan West Road is not only an inherent requirement for the continuation and unification of the whole line of Zhongshan Road, but also of great significance for improving the road network, alleviating the traffic pressure of the Wangchun road section and promoting the development of the Wangchun region.
