National Development and Reform Commission
Recently, the Price Department of the National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the continuation of the grid parity policy for new wind power and photovoltaic power generation projects in 2022, which proposes that in 2021, China's new wind power and photovoltaic power generation projects will fully achieve grid parity, and the industry will maintain a rapid development trend. In order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the wind power and photovoltaic power generation industries, in 2022, the policy of grid parity will be extended for newly approved onshore wind power projects, newly registered centralized photovoltaic power stations and industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic projects (hereinafter referred to as "new projects"), and the feed-in tariff will be implemented according to the local benchmark price for coal-fired power generation. New projects can voluntarily form feed-in tariffs by participating in market-based transactions, so as to fully reflect the green power value of new energy. Encourage all localities to introduce targeted support policies to support the high-quality development of wind power and photovoltaic power generation industries.
