Shandong new energy target: more than 10GW of new production in 2023, 2GW of offshore wind power will be started, and 7GW of large bases are under construction!

            It was learned that on February 7, the Shandong Provincial Energy Bureau issued the "Notice on the Guiding Opinions on Energy Work in the Province in 2023".The "Notice" pointed out the main indicators: by the end of 2023, the total installed power capacity will reach about 200 million kilowatts, of which the installed capacity of new and renewable energy power generation will reach more than 80 million kilowatts, accounting for more than 40%.

            At the same time, with the "five clean energy bases" as the main battlefield and the transformation and upgrading of coal-fired power as the focus, we will accelerate the pace of energy structure adjustment and actively serve the construction of green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot zones. More than 10 million kilowatts of new and renewable energy capacity were put into operation throughout the year, and more than 10 million kilowatts of large-scale and high-efficiency coal-fired power units were under construction.

            Accelerate the construction of offshore wind power bases. Promote the offshore wind power projects in the provincial sea area to be fully nuclear, open and merge, start construction of projects such as Bozhong G of Shanneng Group and South U2 of National Energy Peninsula, and complete projects such as National Energy Bozhong B2 and South U1 of State Power Investment Peninsula, with a scale of 2 million kilowatts for the whole year. Solidly carry out the preliminary work of sites in state-managed sea areas, start the construction of pilot projects in a timely manner, and promote the development of offshore wind power to the deep sea.

            We will further promote the development of the integrated base of wind, solar, storage and transportation in the saline-alkali tidal flats of northern Shandong. Focusing on building a national green energy corridor in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, we will coordinate and promote the large-scale and intensive development of the base, comprehensively build the first batch of national large-scale wind and solar base projects such as China Resources Dongying Finance and Haihua Weifang Binhai, and start construction of new national large-scale wind and solar base projects such as Huaneng Binzhou Zhanhua and Huiyang Dongying Lijin. By the end of 2023, the installed capacity of new energy in operation and under construction at the base will reach 7 million kilowatts.

            Promote innovation in development models. Innovate and build an integrated development model of wind, solar, and hydrogen storage, relying on distributed wind and solar resources such as clean energy bases and ports in Lubei and Jiaodong Peninsula, and along highways, and explore and promote pilot projects such as Yantai Haiyang hydrogen alcohol integration and Qingdao Port hydrogen power port. Innovate and promote the coordinated development model of new energy development and equipment industry, focus on building the "Guohe" advanced third-generation nuclear energy base, the hydrogen energy industry base of the Yellow River Basin of the State Power Investment Corporation, and focus on building offshore wind power equipment manufacturing clusters such as Yantai Penglai, Dongying Economic Development Zone, and Weihai Rushan, with an annual production capacity of 500 sets of wind turbine hosts.
