Accelerate the integrated development of oil and gas exploration and development and new energy

Recently, the National Energy Administration organized a kick-off meeting to accelerate the integration of oil and gas exploration and development and new energy. The meeting pointed out that the upstream field of oil and gas has great potential for the integrated development of exploration and development and new energy, and by vigorously implementing clean energy substitution and simultaneously increasing the supply of oil and gas commodities, it is a realistic way to enhance oil and gas supply capacity and significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in oil and gas production, and it is also an active exploration of building an energy supply system of "coal, oil, gas, nuclear, new energy and renewable energy".

In recent years, the State Grid Qingyang Power Supply Company has deeply implemented electric energy substitution to help oil exploitation, and has completed the energy substitution promotion and application of 61 oil fracturing projects, with a total of 110 million kilowatt-hours of replaced electricity.

In order to maximize the energy advantages of Qingyang, State Grid Qingyang Power Supply Company also issued a letter to the local energy bureau on the cooperation between government and enterprises to promote the healthy and orderly development of the second batch of new energy in Qingyang during the 14th Five-Year Plan, aiming to establish a normal communication mechanism for all parties, grasp the progress of new energy construction on a weekly basis, prepare for grid-connected services in advance, continue to optimize the grid-connected process, and continuously improve the grid-connected efficiency. As of the end of March, the total installed capacity of new energy in Qingyang Power Grid exceeded 1 million kilowatts, the comprehensive utilization rate reached 99.61%, and the cumulative utilization rate of wind power and photovoltaic reached a record high.

The 14th Five-Year Plan period is a critical period for the energy transition. China's new energy industry has developed significantly, showing a trend of rapid improvement in performance, continuous improvement in economy, and increasing application scale. On the demand side, the shift to electrification is accelerating for oil and gas production. At the same time, the domestic oil and gas resource rich areas have abundant wind, solar and thermal resources, and oil and gas exploration and development have strong demand and capacity to absorb new energy, which provides a good basic condition for large-scale new energy construction.
