In August, the total working hours of construction machinery in the country continued to rise, the projects under construction continued to speed up, the national pumping volume rose again, the operating rate of pavement equipment and excavation equipment increased month-on-month, and the road traffic infrastructure continued to develop. In addition, many provinces across the country achieved a month-on-month increase in the operating rate of port equipment, continuing the good situation of multi-point flowering last month.

In August, the operating rate of construction machinery in the country was 50.01%. The total working hours of construction machinery in the country increased by 4.40% month-on-month, continuing the growth rate of last month and expanding, to a certain extent, indicating that the projects under construction have accelerated significantly.

The operating rate of 16 provinces in the country exceeded 60%. Hainan, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Jilin and Qinghai have ranked among the top 10 in the country in terms of operating rates for three consecutive months. Among them, the operating rate of Hainan continued to rise from May to August, which were 68.81%, 69.09%, 69.16% and 70.27%, respectively, ranking first in August.

In August, the operating rate and total working time of pavers, rollers and excavators all achieved month-on-month growth, and in addition to truck-mounted pumps and trailer pumps, the operating hours of 11 small categories of equipment increased month-on-month. The operating rate and total working time of pavers increased the highest month-on-month, at 3.67% and 19.90% respectively. 17 provinces have achieved year-on-year growth in crawler cranes, 12 provinces have achieved year-on-year growth in road rollers, 10 provinces have achieved year-on-year growth in reachstackers and mixers, and 7 provinces have achieved year-on-year growth in trailer pumps.
