On November 21, the National Energy Administration released the issuance and trading data of national renewable energy green power certificates in October 2024.

In October 2024, the National Energy Administration issued 1.232 billion green certificates. Among them, 530 million are wind power, accounting for 43.01%; 197 million solar power generation, accounting for 16.02%; 392 million were conventional hydropower, accounting for 31.84%; 109 million biomass power generation, accounting for 8.83%; 3.78 million other renewable energy sources were generated, accounting for 0.31%.

By the end of October 2024, a total of 3.551 billion green certificates had been issued across the country. Among them, 1.323 billion were wind power, accounting for 37.25%; 681 million solar power generation, accounting for 19.18%; 1.277 billion conventional hydropower, accounting for 35.97%; biomass power generation was 264 million, accounting for 7.44%; 5.67 million other renewable energy sources generated electricity, accounting for 0.16%.

In October 2024, 25.42 million green certificates were traded nationwide (including 9.8 million green certificates traded with green electricity); By the end of October 2024, a total of 384 million green certificates had been traded across the country (including 195 million green certificates traded with green electricity).
