The data shows that in July, the construction of infrastructure projects in our country progressed steadily, especially in some provinces in the western region, showing strong growth momentum.

The top 10 operating rate in the country was released: Zhejiang reached the top of 66.25%

In July, the national construction machinery operating rate was 44.43%, and the total workload increased by 4.44% month-on-month. The construction of infrastructure projects in various places is gradually picking up, especially in some provinces in the western region, showing strong growth momentum.

In July, the top ten provinces in terms of comprehensive operating rate were: Zhejiang, Hainan, Anhui, Qinghai, Jiangxi, Beijing, Liaoning, Fujian, Hebei and Gansu. Among them, a total of 20 provinces in the country have an operating rate of more than 50%, and the development of infrastructure projects across the country is balanced.

In July, the workload of 12 provinces across the country increased month-on-month. Among them, among the top five provinces, the western region accounted for three, namely Guizhou, Qinghai and Guangxi.

In July, the operating rate of pavement equipment was 32.15%, an increase of 2.6% month-on-month, and the workload increased by 16.14% month-on-month and 20.09% year-on-year. Among them, the operating rate of pavers was 44.74%, an increase of 3.31% month-on-month, ranking first among all subdivisions of equipment; the operating rate of rollers was 26.98%, an increase of 2.33% month-on-month, ranking second. In July, key roads, bridges and other large-scale projects across the country continued to advance.

In the top five, the western region occupies three of the top five (Qinghai, Ningxia, Tibet), which once again confirms the continuous efforts of infrastructure construction in the western region.

In July, the comprehensive operating rate in Northeast China was 49.81%, ranking first in the country, of which the operating rate of port equipment was 44.34% and the operating rate of pavement equipment was 59.55%, both ranking first in similar equipment in major regions. Among the subdivided equipment, the operating rate of rollers is 60.88%, the operating rate of forklifts is 52.94%, the operating rate of crawler cranes is 72.69%, the operating rate of pavers is 57.66%, and the operating rate of concrete batching plants is 39.10%, all of which rank first in similar equipment in various regions.

Among them, the operating rate of excavation equipment is 55.19% and the operating rate of pile construction equipment is 44.97%, ranking first in the country of similar equipment. Among the subdivided equipment, the operating rate of excavators is 55.19%, and the operating rate of rotary drilling rigs is 44.68%, ranking first in all regions of similar equipment. The workload of reach stackers in Shanxi increased by 93% year-on-year, ranking first in the country.

In July, the comprehensive operating rate in the eastern region was 44.79%. Among them, the operating rate of concrete equipment is 46.6%, ranking first in the country for similar equipment. Among the subdivided equipment, the operating rate of trailer pumps is 13.25%, the operating rate of mixer trucks is 54.8%, and the operating rate of on-board pumps is 26.78%, all ranking first in the country.

In July, Tibet's workload increased by 33.4% year-on-year, ranking first in the country. Among them, pump trucks, truck-mounted pumps, concrete batching plants, truck cranes, and rollers have increased their monthly workload for five consecutive months since March 2025. From March to July 2025, the cumulative increase in roller workload will reach 466%, the cumulative increase in pump trucks will be 279%, the cumulative increase in truck cranes will be 218%, and the cumulative increase in concrete batching plants will be 153%, all of which will increase by more than 100%. From the perspective of operating rate, from February to July 2025, the operating rate of pump trucks increased by 46.47% and the operating rate of rollers increased by 50.27%. In July, the operating rate of pump trucks increased by 8.71% year-on-year, and the operating rate of rollers increased by 11.22% year-on-year.
