During the 2025 Beijing International Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition, the 9 major OEMs still choose to launch their blockbuster new products at this critical juncture. It is worth noting that according to the observation of "Fengmang Energy", compared with the previous comprehensive bet on the path of "large capacity, large blades, and fast iteration", the idea of promoting new ideas has shifted significantly.

With the implementation of "Document No. 136", the new energy industry is undergoing a key transformation from "policy-driven" to "market-driven", and the operational logic from "guaranteeing power generation" to "creating value" not only subverts the value of new energy assets, but also reconstructs the technical logic. For complete machine manufacturers, capacity racing and size iteration have long been out of date, and the 2025 Beifeng Exhibition is based on the highly reliable intelligent competition of units, based on market-oriented solution duels, and is also a strategic competition for wind and solar hydrogen storage applications under non-electric expansion.

Compared with the past three years, the number of new product launches and iteration speed of machine manufacturers have decreased significantly. In 2025, in addition to Mingyang Intelligence's new stage of increasing the capacity of offshore wind power to 50MW through the structural innovation of "double wind wheels", the maximum size parameters of new machine manufacturers have stabilized, and the competition of wind turbine size has entered a "plateau period".

The next generation of Ultra series products

The new generation of Ultra series products covers all scenarios on land and sea, with a new capacity of 10.5MW-11.1MW and a GWH266-14MW model suitable for the offshore low wind speed market.


The design life of the land model is extended to 25 years, and the marine model is extended to 30 years. It is estimated that the life upgrade can equivalent to increasing the annual power generation hours of the project by 129-206 hours and reducing the investment cost per kilowatt by 279-361 yuan.


GWH204-Ultra series models have a 2% higher power generation performance than the 242-meter impeller unit with the same power, more than 3% higher power generation during high-value power trading periods, and more than 5% higher power curve imitation accuracy. The GWH266-14MW model has a small impeller design, which reduces wake loss by 5%-6% compared with the large impeller model with the same power, and the power generation is the same as that of the 300-meter impeller unit with the same power.
