Yu Hongfu, chairman of Sany Heavy Machinery, attended the off-line ceremony, he said that the off-line of SY16 and SY35 has improved the type spectrum of Sany earth-moving machinery, which is of great strategic significance to Sany, and also marks that Sany has fired the *5656 gun to seize the European and American miniature excavator market.

It is understood that SY16 and SY35 are the two hydraulic excavators with the smallest tonnage at present, with a weight of 1.6 tons and 3.5 tons respectively, which are mainly developed for the needs of the European and American markets, and are widely used in small earthwork operations such as manors, farms, urban corners, and ditch dredging, and can also be lifted, crushed, and bulldozed. As Sany's products that create an era in micro excavators, SY16 and SY35 adopt a full-lined, rounded and powerful appearance, which is obviously different from other Sany small excavators, and looks more compact and flexible.

According to Wang Chunhui, the person in charge of R&D, when the R&D team did the overall layout design of these two excavators, it was necessary to realize the function of standard small digging in a very limited space, including the boom deflection mechanism that the standard small digging did not have, and at the same time to ensure good maintenance and repair performance, smooth and efficient heat dissipation performance, there are many large excavators or standard tailsMini excavatorsThere will be no problems in the layout of the whole machine, but they will be properly solved one by one.

In terms of performance, Wang Chunhui is full of confidence: "SY16 and SY35 have made a major breakthrough in handling performance, with high fretting performance, coordinated and soft compound movements, and small impact. At the same time, the high-quality hydraulic parts combined with Sany's years of experience in hydraulic system design not only improve the control performance of the whole machine, but also ensure a very low failure rate. ”

In order to develop this new product, Wang Chunhui led the R&D team to overcome two major difficulties in a row. One is the issue of vibration. As a mini digger mainly used for urban work, comfort issues such as vibration and noise are the top priority. In the process of product development, from the optimization of engine and cab mounts, to the design of shock absorbing pads, to the simulation of the cab wall structure, the R&D team has been repeatedly verified by theoretical calculations and experimental tests at every step.

The second is the issue of heat dissipation. The tailless structure determines that the engine compartment space is very small, and the compact layout is more prone to thermal balance problems during excavator operation. Through the air duct flow field optimization project in cooperation with universities, Sany Xiaodu's R&D personnel have optimized the air duct flow field of SY16 and SY35 for many times, and redesigned the radiator to improve the heat dissipation performance and achieve small volume and large heat dissipation.
