The cumulative sales of 9 major products were 544,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%. In addition to the year-on-year decline in sales of loaders and truck-mounted cranes, the remaining seven major construction machinery products have achieved growth. Among them, five main products such as graders, excavators, road rollers, industrial vehicles, and bulldozers showed double-digit growth, and the sales volume of graders and excavators increased by about 20%.

Excavator, known as the pearl of the construction machinery industry, excavator sales data can reflect the overall development of the construction machinery industry to a certain extent, and the "excavator index" has even become the basis for the relevant national departments to formulate policies.

In 2016, the industry sold 70,320 excavators, an increase of 24.8% year-on-year, and the monthly sales growth continued to accelerate since the second half of 2016, among them, a significant increase of 75.0% in December compared with the same period last year, which made people expect the construction machinery industry to gradually recover, adding a lot of confidence.

Loader

In 2016, the cumulative sales of loaders were 67,375 units, although a year-on-year decrease of 8.43%, but compared with the year-on-year decline of 51.1% in 2015, it can be seen that the decline of loaders has been greatly improved.

With the continuous improvement of the construction machinery industry market, loaders that can play an important role in the construction of highways, railways, water conservancy and rail transit, etc., may reverse the downward trend in 2017 and achieve growth.

road roller

Road rollers achieved a reversal in 2016, and the 23 major enterprises participating in the statistics in 2016 sold a total of 11,959 road rollers, an increase of 15% compared with 10,388 units in 2015. Compared with the 27.2% year-on-year decline in 2015, enterprises in the road roller industry have felt the joy of increasing orders brought about by the market recovery.

Among them, there are 352 static rollers, 1,222 tire types, 3,855 mechanical single drums, 1,897 full hydraulic single drums, 2,051 double drums, 2,411 light equipment, 77 garbage compactors, and 94 other types. Among them, 1,760 units were exported, an increase of 5.33% year-on-year in 2015.

Pavers

In 2016, the 17 major enterprises participating in the statistics sold a total of 1,971 pavers, an increase of 9% compared with 2015. Among them, there are 45 mechanical types and 1,926 hydraulic types.

bulldozer

From January to November 2016, the cumulative sales of bulldozers were 3,769 units, an increase of 367 units or 10.8% year-on-year.

Motor grader In the first 11 months of 2016, 11 major domestic motor grader manufacturers sold about 2,900 motor graders of various types, a year-on-year increase of 17.67%

Milling machine

In 2016, a total of 570 units were sold, an increase of -1% compared with 2015, including 400 tires and 205 tracks.
