At 11:38 a.m. on June 26, 2017, with the rumbling sound of firecrackers and the melodious whistle of the No. 9 boat, 6 electric tire containers independently developed by Sany Offshore Engineering Co., Ltdcrane(ERTG) set sail slowly and was officially sent to the new port of Mumbai, India. Mr. Xiang Wenbo, Director of Sany Group and President of Sany Heavy Industry, attended the delivery ceremony and gave important instructions: Mr. Xiang Wenbo first highly affirmed and thanked the delivery heroes who were fighting on the front line, and called on everyone to continue to maintain the work style of hard work; Then, he looked forward to the future of Sany Offshore and planned a grand blueprint, and then officially announced the shipment of Sany Offshore Mumbai New Port Bridge.

Mumbai Newport is India's *5655 state-owned container terminal, with an average annual container handling of about 4.1 million TEUs, accounting for 41% of India's annual container handling volume, ranking 31st in the world. To further enhance its container handling efficiency and capacity, Mumbai Newport has issued an international tender invitation to global RTG suppliers. In the end, Sany Offshore stood out among internationally renowned brands such as Zhenhua Heavy Industries, Liebherr and Doosan Machinery by virtue of its high-quality design capabilities, good delivery capabilities and popular international service capabilities, and successfully won the bid.

The ERTG, developed and manufactured by Sany Offshore, adopts pure electric drive and diesel generator sets are only used for transfer under container operating conditions, which improves efficiency and effectively reduces carbon dioxide emissions and enhances environmental protection, effectively achieving the two major goals of "energy-saving port and green port" advocated by the world. At the beginning of the design of this product, the R&D person in charge had a detailed communication with the customer's operator, fully understood its specific needs, and designed it based on the theory of "ergonomics" to ensure the comfort of operation. In May 2017, a nine-member inspection team was dispatched to Bombay Newport to carefully inspect the six RTGs shipped. During the inspection, the customer was full of praise for the ERTG manufactured by Sany, and affirmed both the product quality and the production and delivery capacity.

Since Sany Zhuhai Industrial Park was put into operation in 2015, it has received a number of international and domestic customers, and all the customers who have visited have been deeply impressed by Sany's production management capabilities, on-site 6S level and R&D capabilities.
