* 5,656 rescued miners Avalos

The seventh miner arrived on the surface in a rescue pod
Cheers, applause, hugs, this is the scene of *5656 trapped miners as they ascend to the surface. According to foreign media reports, miners at the San Jose copper mine in Chile, who have been trapped underground for 69 days, have been lifted to the surface in bullet-shaped rescue capsules since October 13. U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement at *5656 time expressing his best wishes.
■The President of Chile attended the scene in person
At around 0:11 local time on the 13th (11:11 Beijing time on the 13th), 31-year-old Florencio Alvalos*5656 successfully ascended the well. His wife and children immediately ran up to him and hugged him, celebrating his rescue. Chilean President Sebastián Piñera then embraced Avalos. Ground crews set off fireworks and streamers, and balloons in the same colors as the Chilean flag were also released. Piñera gave a brief speech on the spot, saying that the smooth operation was a source of pride for all of Chile.
Since then, several miners, including Mario Sepúlveda, Juan Ilians and Bolivian miner Carlos Mamani, have been rescued one after another. According to the plan, the last of the 33 trapped miners* to ascend the shaft will be their "backbone" when they were underground, 54-year-old Luis Ursua. It was with Ursua's encouragement that the trapped miners managed to survive the first 17 days of isolation.
When Sepúlveda raised the well, he deliberately brought some stones from the ground at a depth of nearly 700 meters as a "souvenir" of the experience of immortality. Mamani's father-in-law revealed on the 12th that Mamani had told him through video underground that he would never be a miner again after being rescued. The day of the accident was Mamani's fifth day at the San Jose Copper Mine.
In order to protect their eyesight, the trapped miners wore sunglasses when they ascended the shaft. They appeared to be in good health and in good spirits. Chilean flags fluttered everywhere at the scene, and bursts of cheerful applause were heard from time to time.
As of 12:12 local time on the 13th (23:12 Beijing time on the 13th), 15 miners have successfully ascended the shaft, and the rescue operation is still in an intense and orderly manner, and the rescued miners have been arranged to a nearby hospital for health checks. At present, Mario Gomez (63 years old), aged 5655 and Jimmy Sanchez (19 years old), the youngest of the trapped miners, have been rescued.
■ChinacraneTake part in the rescue
At the rescue site, there is a behemoth from China, which is the SCC4000-type crawler crane designed and produced by China Sany Group selected by the Chilean government when formulating the rescue plan. This Chinese machine, known as the "Shenzhou *5656 crane", undertook the heavy responsibility of lifting the rescue capsule. Hao Heng, service engineer of Sany Group's Chile branch, who participated in the on-site rescue, said: "When I learned that our crane was selected, I couldn't tell how excited I was! I am confident that our machine will live up to its mission. ”
Zhou Fugui, vice president of Sany Group, pointed out in an interview with domestic media that participating in the rescue operation will not only improve the popularity of Sany Heavy Industry brand in the international market, but more importantly, it is an opportunity for people around the world to understand the quality of "Made in China".
Zhou Fugui said that some time ago, the domestic "poisoned toys", "poisoned milk powder" and other incidents have made the Western people have a great prejudice against "Made in China", and these incidents have also had a negative impact on the promotion of other Chinese products in overseas markets.
"The successful participation of the Chinese-made crane in this rescue will greatly enhance the reputation of 'Made in China' in the international community and change some people's distrust of the quality of Chinese products," Zhou Fugui said.
■U.S. and Japanese leaders convey greetings
With the rescue efforts well underway, US President Barack Obama issued a statement at the White House, wishing all the trapped miners safe and sound.
"[At this moment] our thoughts are with the brave miners, their families and the workers who are trying to get involved in the rescue, and we pray for them," Obama said. Knowing that the rescue efforts are far from over and that more difficult tests are yet to come, we pray in God's name that all the trapped miners will be rescued safely and that they will soon be reunited with their families. ”
Japan's official governor, Yuto Senya, also spoke in Tokyo praising the Chilean government's rescue efforts. "I think it's a miracle happening in the 21st century. Not only the progress of technology, but also the greatness of humanity once again. Yuto Senya also said that Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan had called Piñera to congratulate him.
■The presidents of the two countries held a press conference
At about 11 o'clock local time on the 13th (22 o'clock Beijing time on the 13th), Bolivian President Evo Morales and Chilean President Sebastián Piñera, who made a special trip to Chile to witness the "grand occasion" of Bolivian miner Carlos Mamani's ascension, held a joint press conference at the rescue site.
Morales thanked Piñera, saying that the Bolivian people will never forget the positive spirit shown by the Chilean people in this rescue operation, "which brought the two peoples closer together". Morales also said that he hoped to return to Bolivia with Mamani soon.
Piñera said the rescue operation proved once again that the positive spirit of humanity can overcome fear and death. "I am more convinced than ever that the most precious wealth of our country is not the copper mines, but the miners."
