From the August 5 mine disaster to the current sprint period, whether the miners can safely ascend the shaft has become the focus. The equipment at the rescue site*5655 is a SCC4000-type crawler crane with the "Made in China" brand and designed and produced by China Sany Heavy Industry.

"This machine was purchased by our Chilean customer in 2008, because the performance was stable during more than two years of use, so in the Chilean government's rescue plan, the Chilean customer proposed to use our machine." Zhou Fugui, vice president of Sany Heavy Industry and chairman of Shanghai Sany Technology, said in a dialogue with Sina Finance and Economics today.

According to Zhou Fugui, after the professional hoisting company in Chile decided to use the SCC4000-type crawler crane known as "Shenzhou * 5656 crane", Sany Heavy Industry immediately sent three engineers and dispatched persons in charge from Brazil and Peru to participate in testing and transportation. The crane has been assembled and tested at the San Jose Copper Mine in Chile and is on standby.

When asked how confident he was of the success of the rescue. Zhou Fugui said: "If we use Sany's machine, we are 100% sure. ”

It is reported that because the rescue plan is still being optimized, it is uncertain whether to use Sany crawler crane for rescue. According to him, Chinese machines can be 10-20% cheaper than European and American heavy machinery, and the cost performance is very high.

Zhou Fugui believes that the potential of heavy machinery in the global market is very large, and most of the current Sany heavy machinery is still sold in China, but at present, the export proportion of SCC4000-type crawler cranes has reached half, so as Sany continues to strengthen technological innovation and brand building, the prospect of striving for overseas share is optimistic.
