China Daily: China's leading construction machinery enterprises appeared at the French INTERMAT exhibition

From April 16th to 21st, the 9th French International Construction Machinery, Construction Machinery, Parts and Construction Vehicles Expo (INTERMAT 2012) was held in Paris, France. As one of the three major exhibitions in the global construction machinery industry, the French INTERMAT exhibition has been successfully held for eight sessions. The total exhibition area of the French exhibition reached 355,000 square meters, and a total of 1,470 exhibitors from 985 overseas companies from 44 countries participated in the exhibition.

In this Intermat exhibition, the global construction machinery industry giants competed on the same field, and more than 30 enterprises such as Sany Group, XCMG Group, Shantui Co., Ltd., Zoomlion and other leading enterprises in China's construction machinery industry brought more than 100 kinds of construction machinery products to the international event, showing the strength and style of China's construction machinery industry to the world.

Sany Heavy Industry's "China Red" Dance France Exhibition

Sany Heavy Industry sent a strong lineup to participate in the Paris exhibition this time, including dozens of new products representing Sany's scientific and technological level, such as SR280RII rotary drilling rigs, SSR120 road rollers, crawler cranes, all-terrain cranes, and hydraulic excavators. The booth that embodies the characteristics of Sany's "China Red" and the red Sany flag fluttered high under the Paris sky.

Sany Heavy Industry is fully implementing the globalization strategy and attaches great importance to the Paris Convention and Exhibition. "In 2012, Sany Group's sales will exceed 100 billion yuan, of which overseas markets will account for 30%." Sany Heavy Industry President Xiang Wenbo said.

On January 31, 2012, Sany Heavy Industry acquired the German Putzmeister company, a global concrete machinery giant founded in 1958. On January 21, 2012, Putzmeister signed a merger agreement with Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and CITIC Industrial Investment Fund Co., Ltd. Sany and CITIC Industrial Fund jointly acquired 100% of the shares of Putzmeister. Among them, Sany Germany acquired 90%, with a capital contribution of 324 million euros, equivalent to 2.654 billion yuan. On January 31, Sany officially acquired Putzmeister. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the 2012*5656 quarter.

"It's a dragon-elephant dance!" Liang Wengen, chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, said. "This strategic acquisition will enable Sany to master the global sales system of Elephant Company and absorb the world's most advanced manufacturing technology."

It is also reported that Sany is China's *5655, the world's sixth largest construction machinery manufacturer. Last year, sales reached 80.2 billion yuan. The main production of concrete machinery, road construction machinery, excavation machinery,Piling machinery, hoisting machinery, trenchless construction equipment, port machinery, wind power equipment and other products. In March 2011, it donated a 62-meter pump truck to Japan free of charge, which played a huge role in the rescue of Japan's earthquake accident. Sany has 21 overseas subsidiaries around the world, covering 150 countries and exporting its products to more than 110 countries and regions. At present, Sany has successively invested in R&D and manufacturing bases for construction machinery in India, the United States, Germany and Brazil.
