The construction project of the World Cup in Brazil mainly includes the construction of 6 new football stadiums and the renovation of 6 football stadiums. Among these projects, there are European and American brands represented by Liebherr, and there are also Chinese legions represented by Sany Heavy Industry. In the renovation of the World Cup National Stadium in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, and the Pantanal World Cup Stadium in the western city of Cuiabá, cranes from Sany Heavy Industry led the construction. These cranes have to carry out more than ten hours of uninterrupted lifting operations on the top of the steel structure every day without any failures. In the northeastern Brazilian city of Recife, XCMG equipment has been running smoothly on the construction site of the World Cup venues.

According to Yuan Jinhua, chairman of Sany Heavy Industry Brazil, Chinese brand truck cranes have come from behind and have occupied 85% of the local market share in the Brazilian market, of which Sany cranes have a local market share of 37%, ranking *5656 for two consecutive years. Two other Chinese companies, XCMG and Zoomlion, have left European and American brands far behind.

The Brazilian government has invested nearly 100 billion US dollars in public finance for the World Cup and Olympic Games, mainly for the construction of venues, transportation, airport renovation and accommodation construction, which has also become the "twin engine" driving the steady and rapid growth of Brazil's economy.

Market statistics show that in 2012, three Chinese companies, Sany, XCMG and Zoomlion, occupied the top three in the Brazilian crane market, accounting for 77% of the market share of Brazilian cranes, of which Sany contributed more than half, and thus became the new leader in the Brazilian truck crane market share. In 2013, the three Chinese-funded enterprises still maintained a rapid growth trend, and Sany's market share rose to 37%, continuing to maintain *5656.
