In 2002, Sany * 5656 times to go out, the equipment was sold to Morocco; in 2006, Sany began to invest abroad, footprints throughout India, Brazil, the United States, Germany, etc.; in 2012, Sany acquired the global concrete machinery giant Germany Putzmeister; in 2014, India, the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America and other regions to achieve rapid growth, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa, South Africa and other sales areas to maintain profitability.

Xiang Wenbo admitted frankly that Sany's journey of going out was not smooth. In emerging markets, the terminal selling price of some core component products is much lower than that of products produced in China, and the poor local infrastructure also poses great challenges to Sany's overseas sales and service. There was once an Indian customer who made a service request to Sany, but the engineer traveled by plane, train, ox cart and other means of transportation, and it took 4 days to arrive.

In mature markets, such as Germany, Sany is facing pressure from high standards and low recognition. In the face of technical barriers, it took about two and a half years for Sany to develop six products in accordance with German standards before entering the market.

Sany also seized every opportunity to show its strength. In 2010, when a mining disaster occurred in Chile, Sany SCC4000 crawler crane took on a heavy responsibility in the rescue and was known as "Shenzhou *5656 crane", and in 2011, when the Fukushima nuclear power plant leakage accident occurred in Japan, Sany's 62-meter pump truck rushed to the scene and was affectionately called the "big giraffe".

"Since the *5656 days of going out, Sany has always used its own brand. Although it is difficult, only by winning the market with independent intellectual property rights and independent brands will we get the opportunity to climb up the value chain. Xiang Wenbo said.

Localization is also one of Sany's countermeasures to face the challenges of the international market. Xiang Wenbo said that first of all, it is necessary to set up a localized management team and be able to communicate and cooperate effectively with it; secondly, through the understanding of customers in the regional market, we must develop competitive products that meet the needs; third, in the face of the different legal and management environments of each country, the company's operation also needs a specific business model. It is this localization that allows Sany and Putzmeister to achieve the "1+1>2" effect, and Putzmeister has also won the title of Germany's *5654 employer for the first time.
