Navigator"The platform is sharp

The 5.0MW onshore wind turbine is one of the main models of the Sany Renewable Energy "Navigator" series platform. The "Navigator" series of platforms are jointly built by Sany Renewable Energy and Sany European Research Institute, mainly for medium and high wind speed wind areas in the parity era, with a power level of 4.2~5.0MW, an impeller diameter of 156m~168m, and a tower height of 95m~140m. The platform is a customized product platform adapted to different wind zones and different terrains.

The platform adopts a modular design, equipped with functional modules such as high/low temperature, high altitude, salt spray resistance and wind and sand; It adopts advanced technologies such as lidar wind measurement, independent pitch, impedance and vibration reduction, and thrust limiting. The air density compensation algorithm and accurate loss model are used to improve the power generation efficiency of the wind turbine, and the power generation capacity of the excavator is maximized based on the specific wind conditions of the site. The use of mature supporting supply chain and perfect testing and verification system of the whole machine and components to ensure the high reliability of the unit.

Sany Renewable Energy's first 5.0MW "box-transformer top-mounted" onshore wind turbine was hoisted in December 2020 and successfully connected to the grid in the same month. This model has 4 highlights:

1. Light weight of the whole machine:The industry-leading intelligent control strategy load reduction technology is adopted, and the structural design is accurately optimized, which greatly reduces the weight of the whole machine and tower, and is on par with the ace model of the same platform as the international benchmark.

2. The cost of electricity is low: Targeting the parity market and leveling the cost of electricity per kilowatt-hour (LCOE)< 0.22元/千瓦,具备和火电竞争的能力。

3. Platform design:This model adopts a platform design and has expanded and developed more than 10 models to achieve full coverage of medium and high wind speed areas in China.

4. Flexible transportation and hoisting methods:The platform-based and modular design can realize the split of the engine room, overall transportation and hoisting, meet the needs of various working conditions in the northern base and the southern mountains, and apply to a variety of crane configurations to greatly reduce the construction cost.

With the development of wind power, large megawatts, long blades, and tall towers have become the development trend of the industry. Compared with the box transformer lower scheme, the box transformer upper scheme has the following advantages:

1. The distance of the power cable into the transformer is short, which reduces the length of the armored multi-core power cable and saves the cable cost;

2. The ground box transformer infrastructure construction requires land acquisition and civil construction, and the box transformer upper scheme can be adoptedreduce the footprint, reduce the cost of foundation construction, and shorten the construction and maintenance cycle;

3. The box transformer can reduce the number of power cables, reduce line loss, and improve power generation performance;

4. Ground oil-immersed transformers are moisture-friendly, flammable, non-fireproof, require frequent maintenance, and will cause certain pollution to the environment; The dry-type transformer in the engine room has weather resistance and short circuit resistance, and is highly reliable.

5. In the event of natural disasters such as freezing, blizzard, hail, etc., the box on the ground is easy to be smashed, resulting in the inability of the fan to generate electricity, and safety accidents may occur; The box transformer top-mounted avoids these risks.
