On May 28, the first wind turbine of Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sany Renewable Energy") Tongyu manufacturing base officially rolled off the assembly line in Tongyu, Jilin Province. This is the first wind turbine in Jilin to roll off the assembly line since the national "double carbon" goal was proposed. The first wind turbine off the assembly line marks the completion and operation of the second phase of the Sany Renewable Energy Wind Power Intelligent Manufacturing Tongyu Industrial Park project, and also makes Sany Renewable Energy the only complete machine manufacturer in China where all the "complete machine + wind power blades" have landed in Jilin.
"In 2020, the new installed capacity of wind power in China achieved a historic breakthrough, with 71.67 million kilowatts of new grid-connected installed capacity throughout the year. Among them, the newly installed capacity in the central, eastern and southern regions accounted for about 40%, and the 'three north' regions accounted for about 60%, showing a momentum of returning to the 'three norths'. Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and other regions have once again become development hotspots for investment enterprises. Escort to build a million-kilowatt wind power base
"At present, Jilin Province is focusing on promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality, based on the development of more than 100 million kilowatts of wind and solar energy resources, and planning to build the 'Three Gorges of Onshore Wind and Solar Energy'." During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the in-depth co-construction of wind power industrial parks and wind farms will also be carried out to build a million-kilowatt wind power base. Zhao Haifeng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jilin Provincial Government, said in his speech that Sany Renewable Energy and Tongyu County have made great efforts to build a wind power industrial park of "complete machine + blade", which fully reflects the strong synergy of government-enterprise cooperation.
In fact, as early as 2009, Sany Renewable Energy's wind power blade production line settled in Tongyu, and since then, the wind power industry has had ups and downs, and Sany Renewable Energy has always adhered to Tongyu. The official launch of the first wind turbine marks the completion and operation of another complete assembly line of Sany Renewable Energy in addition to Beijing. The wind turbine products produced by the base can meet the needs of large-scale and customized wind power development in Northeast China and eastern Mongolia, and the wind turbines of Sany Renewable Energy 3.X megawatt platform will be shipped to the wind power project in Tieling City, Liaoning Province for installation.

Combined with supporting technologies such as energy storage, pumped storage, and hydropower expansion, we will build complementary bases for water, wind, solar, and storage, and further explore a wider wind power consumption market; Using the planned delivery channels under construction, it is planned to build wind, solar and thermal comprehensive energy bases in Inner Mongolia, Hami Phase III, Longdong, Jilin and other cities. Xiong Li said that the new energy base and large-scale development in the "Three Norths" region are of great significance to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
It is more advantageous to promote wind power parity in the Northeast region
"If it is effectively consumed, the Northeast region will have an advantage in promoting wind power parity/bidding compared to many provinces in the country. The three northeastern provinces are close to the Mengdong region and Jiamusi, with an average annual wind speed of 6.5~7.3 m/s, and are blessed with unique wind resources. In addition, during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the installed capacity of wind power in the three northeastern provinces was relatively small, leaving many areas suitable for building wind farms. Chen Xiangquan, vice president of Sany Renewable Energy Research Institute, said that based on current data, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the three northeastern provinces are expected to add an average of 6~10 GW per year.
According to the latest national feed-in tariff policy, on the one hand, new projects in 2021 will guarantee the power generation within the number of hours purchased, and the feed-in tariff will continue to be allocated according to the "guide price + competitive allocation". On the other hand, it is to ensure the feed-in tariff corresponding to the purchase hours (reasonable utilization hours), which shall be implemented according to the guide price; Guarantee the power generation beyond the purchased hours, and directly participate in market transactions to form feed-in tariffs. Therefore, it is more advantageous to promote wind power parity in the Northeast region.
At the technical level, in recent years, China's enterprises have basically mastered the key technologies of wind turbines, formed a complete industrial chain, and some enterprises and their products have become internationally competitive. In 2019~2020, the market share of onshore wind power with a single capacity of 3 MW has increased significantly, with the average wind turbine diameter exceeding 110 meters and the average tower height exceeding 90 meters. The application of large impellers and high towers has greatly promoted the development and utilization of wind energy resources in areas with low wind speeds. Technologies to adapt to special environments such as high altitude, low temperature, and freezing, as well as system technologies such as intelligent control, have been continuously optimized and upgraded, and the cost of onshore wind power development has been further reduced.
"In the face of the wind resources and environment in Northeast China, Sany Renewable Energy has developed a high, large, long, light and intelligent wind turbine solution, covering 3. X~5 MW and other different models. It is the first in China to put the box transformer into the engine room, which not only ensures the high reliability of the unit, but also greatly reduces the cost, and the lightweight design can reduce the hoisting cost. Chen Xiangquan said that in addition, Sany Renewable Energy's intelligent fan can increase power generation by 2%~5%, reduce the failure rate by 10%~15%, and reduce operation and maintenance costs by 10%~15%.
The large power grid with new energy as the main body poses a severe challenge to the grid connection of wind turbines, and Sany Renewable Energy's wind virtual synchronous machine technology has the same grid friendliness as thermal power.
