PetroChina Longdong Shale Oil Million Ton Demonstration Zone has been preliminarily completed!

As of September 12, 577 horizontal wells have been drilled in Longdong shale oil, with a total footage of 2.317 million meters, and a cumulative oil production of 3.42 million tons since 2018, and a cumulative oil production of 760,000 tons in the first eight months of this year, and the annual output is expected to reach 1.14 million tons.

Among them, the national shale oil demonstration area - Changqinghua H100 platform has completed 31 horizontal wells, with a total footage of 150,000 meters and an average section length of 2,040 meters, which not only set a record for the shortest drilling cycle of a single well of 7.7 days for horizontal wells and the record of the largest domestic onshore offset distance of 1,266 meters, but also realized the factory operation of 5 drilling rigs on a single platform, and leveraged the development of an "underground oil plant" of up to 50,000 mu with an area of 30 acres, setting a record for the largest horizontal well platform for onshore shale oil in Asia.

The engineering and technology enterprises with Chuanqing Drilling, Oriental Geophysical Prospecting and CNPC Logging as the main force uphold the concept of "Party A can achieve themselves", adhere to the use of technological progress to create value for customers, and create the "three sharp swords" of geophysical prospecting, drilling and fracturing. A large number of new technologies and equipment, such as the self-developed shale oil "sweet spot" characterization and comprehensive evaluation technology, the optimized well layout technology of large well clusters in the loess plateau, and the optimal and fast drilling and completion of long horizontal wells, have effectively promoted the substantial improvement of operation capacity and efficiency, with the length of the horizontal section exceeding 5,000 meters and the daily fracturing of a single platform reaching 18 sections.

CNPC has always adhered to the construction principle of "multi-layer, three-dimensional, large well cluster, and factory", and has made every effort to create an open and shared new production organization model, and has achieved a series of management innovation achievements. Through the implementation of the "project department + specialization" management mechanism and the "dual platform chief" responsibility system, we have created an efficient collaboration team of Party A and Party B, and new measures such as factory operation, intelligent decision-making, and full life cycle assessment have been taken to make scientific management enter the integrated operation, and the integrated general contracting model with "eight guarantees" as the main content has built a new cooperation mechanism for Party A and Party B with a shared future of risk sharing and benefit sharing.
