In May this year, the internationally renowned photographer George Steinmetz walked into the Sany Renewable Energy Shaoshan Blade Manufacturing Base and recorded the key moments that happened here with his lens.

Recently, these pictures from the production line of Sany Renewable Energy's Shaoshan blade factory were published in the December 18 issue of Science, the world's most influential scientific research journal, and were included in a special report with the theme of "2025 Breakthrough of the Year".

The series of images is titled "The Green Giant", which fully illustrates the key processes of wind turbine blades from manufacturing, transportation to hoisting, and shows how large-scale renewable energy infrastructure is shaping the future energy landscape.
