On September 28, the first phase of Sany Shuozhou's 5GW monocrystalline silicon project was officially put into operation in Shuozhou Low-carbon Silicon Core Industrial Park, which is the first large-scale photovoltaic monocrystalline silicon project in Shanxi Province, marking a new step for Shuozhou, a major traditional energy city, to enter the manufacturing and new energy industries.

Shuozhou Low-carbon Silicon Core Industrial Park is a 100-billion-level low-carbon silicon core industrial park built by Shuozhou City to seize the opportunity of national policies, actively implement the "double carbon" goal, and strive to build it. According to the first phase of the focus on the development of photovoltaic, electronics, silicon carbide and other basic material industries, the industrial park will expand the scale of the basic materials industry within 3 years, gradually introduce relevant downstream high-end industries, and build a low-carbon silicon core industry cluster within 5 years. The monocrystalline silicon project put into operation this time is the first smart photovoltaic, green and low-carbon landmark project built by Sany Group in Shanxi, marking the layout of Sany Group's new energy industry sector in Shanxi. The project has an annual output of 12,000 tons of monocrystalline silicon rods, an annual output value of about 2.2 billion yuan, and is expected to create more than 600 jobs and achieve tax revenue of 300 million yuan/year. The project adopts the industry's most advanced 1600 low-oxygen furnace to produce N-type high-efficiency monocrystal, and the photoelectric conversion rate of photovoltaic panels has reached the world's leading level.
