On February 22, Sany Heavy Industry and CATL held a demonstration and commissioning ceremony for the application of battery-swapping heavy trucks in Fujian Province. Under the witness of the guests,The country's first electric heavy truck trunk line - Funing trunk line was officially put into operation, and the first batch of 62 Sany electric muck trucks in Fujian Province were officially delivered.

The Funing trunk line connects the two cities of Fuqing and Ningde in Fujian Province, with a total mileage of 175 kilometers and multiple charging stations along the way, making it the first electric heavy truck trunk line in operation in China.
On this electrification "demonstration project",Sany Heavy Work is one of the main construction vehicles and electric transport vehicle providers.While deeply involved in the construction of the project, the first batch of electric muck truck products in Fujian Province were launched.
According to the R&D personnel, the Sany electric muck truck adopts a large-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery specially developed by CATL.At the same time, it can meet the needs of high-power fast charging, realize 3-5 minutes of fast battery replacement, etc.It can effectively overcome the problems of "difficult charging and short battery life" of electric heavy trucks during trunk line operation, and improve vehicle operation efficiency.
At the ceremony, Tan Bo, senior deputy general manager of Sany Heavy Industry, handed over the car keys to the customer. It will serve as a benchmark for the green transformation of transportation and contribute to the construction of "zero-carbon Fujian".
Yang Fang, deputy secretary of the Ningde Municipal Party Committee, also congratulated the project on its commissioning. She pointed out that the operation of the battery swap heavy truck application demonstration project,It is of great significance to boost the local market to seize the new business market of battery swapping and cultivate new economic growth points.
