In 2021, the top 100 enterprises (group caliber) in Hunan Province achieved a total tax revenue of 181.5 billion yuan, accounting for more than 40% of the province's tax revenue that year, and is an important pillar of fiscal revenue. According to the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Finance, the announcement of the "four lists" of corporate tax contributions is an important measure for Hunan Province to cultivate and expand backbone tax source enterprises, further promote the construction of financial resources, and support the high-quality development of market entities.

Relevant experts believe that compared with some "social lists", the four lists jointly launched by the Provincial Department of Finance and other seven departments are more authoritative and have more gold content; And from the perspective of contribution to the national economy and people's livelihood, the "list" for enterprises has strong leadership and guidance, which is conducive to encouraging the enterprises on the list to achieve better results, and encouraging taxpayers in the province to operate in accordance with the law and pay taxes in good faith.
