Chairman Xiang Wenbo of Sany Heavy Industry was honorably elected as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference

On January 17, 2023, the 25th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held in Beijing, and the meeting voted to approve the list of members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, with a total of 2,172 members. Mr. Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, was elected as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

The first meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will be held in Beijing on March 4, 2023.

Xiang Wenbo, currently secretary of the party committee and chairman of the trade union of Sany Group Co., Ltd., chairman of Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., concurrently serves as an expert member of the National Manufacturing Power Construction Strategy Advisory Committee, vice president of the China Chamber of Commerce for International Cooperation in Private Economy, vice president of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, vice chairman of the Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce, is a deputy to the 11th National People's Congress, an expert enjoying government subsidies from the State Council, and has won the "2020 National Model Worker", "2021-2022 National Outstanding Entrepreneur", 2009 National Model Machinery Industry Worker", "2002 China's Outstanding Private Science and Technology Entrepreneur", "2002 Bauhinia Cup Outstanding Entrepreneur", "2008 China's Top Ten Outstanding CEOs", "Forbes 2020 China's Best CEO", "Forbes 2010 China's Best CEO", "Forbes 2011 A-share Non-state-owned Listed Company Best CEO" and many other honors.
