On March 22, in Shaoshan, Hunan Province, the first "digital yuan platform" factory in the global wind power industry independently developed by Sany Renewable Energy was officially released during the "Digital Intelligence Leading - High-quality Development Forum for Large MW Wind Turbines and Ultra-long Blades" jointly organized by Sany Renewable Energy and the Wind Energy Special Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, witnessed by 300 industry guests.

On the same day, Sany Renewable Energy's 104-meter onshore wind turbine blade was officially rolled off the production line, setting a new record for the world's longest onshore wind turbine blade, and also marking the official entry of China's onshore wind turbine blade into the "100m+ era".

"The first in the industry, the longest in the world"

On the morning of the same day, the guests were invited to walk into the "super factory" of Sany Renewable Energy Shaoshan wind turbine blades and experience the charm of the industry's first "digital yuan platform" factory up close.

According to reports, Sany Renewable Energy's "digital yuan platform" realizes the digital and intelligent IoT connection between virtual factories and real factories through digital twin technology, realizes the intelligent supervision of all elements and processes of "man-machine-material-method-environment-quality", greatly improves the quality and production efficiency of wind power blade products, and provides customers with high-quality wind power products.

Thanks to the "digital yuan platform", at present, Sany Renewable Energy's Shaoshan wind turbine blade "super factory" has adopted leading processes such as large-scale automatic grinding and centralized resin perfusion, which has changed the industry's "poor operating environment, large quality fluctuations, and low degree of automation", and the planned annual output of wind power blades has exceeded 3,000, covering Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Guangxi and other provinces.

Zhou Fugui, chairman of Sany Renewable Energy, said that innovation is the magic weapon of Sany Renewable Energy to lead intelligent manufacturing. In the future, Sany Renewable Energy will continue to improve the automation and intelligence level of the factory, build it into a "lighthouse factory", and work with the whole industry to lead the energy revolution with innovation and help the society achieve "carbon neutrality" as soon as possible.

During the visit, the guests also witnessed the official launch of the world's longest onshore wind turbine blade, SY1040A. The SY1040A blades are 104 meters long and will be matched with Sany Renewable Energy's 8.5-11MW wind turbine platform. Its shape and structure design are excellent, the power generation performance is stable, the structure is safe and reliable, and the overall level has reached the first-class level in the industry.

"Worth learning from the global wind power industry"

During the event, Sany Renewable Energy and the Wind Energy Special Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society jointly held the "Digital Intelligence Leading-High-quality Development Forum for Large MW Wind Turbines and Ultra-long Blades".

Qin Haiyan, secretary-general of the Wind Energy Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, said that Sany Renewable Energy's super factory and 104-meter onshore wind turbine blades are shocking, "We have been learning from Europe before, and now Sany Renewable Energy's 'super factory' and intelligent manufacturing technology are worthy of learning from the global wind power industry."

Liu Di, president of the Wind Machinery Branch of the China Agricultural Machinery Association, said that today we have seen a "super factory" of blades that is ecologically energy-saving, low-carbon and environmentally friendly, and technologically intelligent, fully demonstrating the fruitful results of Sany Renewable Energy's digital and intelligent upgrading.

Li Qiang, general manager of Sany Renewable Energy, said that in order to accelerate the development of large megawatt wind turbines, Sany Renewable Energy has laid out the blade product chain in advance and introduced experts and technologies in the field of design and verification of ultra-long blades.
