In the afternoon, at the red education base in Shazhou Village, Rucheng County, all the students followed the steps of General Secretary Xi Jinping to relive the "story of half a quilt". In the special exhibition hall, the students learned about the history of Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other revolutionaries of the older generation of revolutionaries leading the workers' and peasants' revolutionary movement in the early days and the Red Army's Long March through Rucheng by visiting the cultural relics and historical materials of the exhibition hall and listening to illustrated explanations.

At the scene, the students watched the video of General Secretary Xi Jinping telling the story of "half a quilt" at the conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, carefully studied the red history of Shazhou Village and the touching deeds of the Communists and the local people through thick and thin, were connected by flesh and blood, and shared the same fate, and listened to the touching story of the three female Red Army soldiers who cut half of their only quilt and left it to the people.

The re-walking of the Long March is also of great significance, not only to follow in the footsteps of the Red Army, but also to inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the Red Army.
