On June 30, during the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, the first China-Africa City Cooperation (Changsha) Forum was held, and more than 300 people attended the forum, including dignitaries from African countries, envoys to China, representatives of international business associations, and representatives from African cities, Chinese cities, China's trade and investment promotion agencies to Africa, and key enterprises in Africa. Xiang Wenbo, rotating chairman of Sany Group and chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a keynote speech as the only representative of the enterprise.

The China-Africa Cities Cooperation (Changsha) Forum is the first platform for economic and trade cooperation between China-Africa cities under the framework of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo. With the theme of "Deepening China-Africa Cooperation and Creating a Better Future", the forum aims to promote cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and African cities, carefully build an international platform for trade exchanges, cooperation docking and people-to-people exchanges between Chinese and African cities, and further promote the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Africa.

Xiang Wenbo, rotating chairman of Sany Group and chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, said at the meeting that Africa is a blessed land for Sany and the starting point of Sany internationalization. He said that at present, Sany has nearly 20,000 units of equipment in Africa, nearly 1,000 local employees, and has achieved a cumulative sales revenue of nearly 17 billion yuan, reaching 1.3 billion yuan from January to May this year alone.

Among them, Ethiopia's 102 wind turbines have become a beautiful scenery, and so far it has maintained the highest export record for a single contract of wind power equipment, continuously providing clean energy for the capital of Ethiopia that occupies 10% of the total electricity, and has made a small contribution to the construction of Africa.

At the same time, Sany has been committed to promoting China-Africa friendship and promoting economic and trade cooperation between Africa and Hunan Province. In 2015, Sany and the Hunan Department of Commerce jointly planned and organized the African ambassador's trip to Hunan, and more than 50 diplomatic envoys from 36 African countries visited Hunan.

Today's world is in a century-old change, and business operations are facing unprecedented challenges, but they also have two unprecedented opportunities that have not been encountered in a thousand years, namely the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the super technology window brought about by the fourth industrial revolution superimposed on the third energy revolution. In order to seize the opportunity, Sany is doing its best to promote the strategy of internationalization, digital intelligence and electrification.

Xiang Wenbo said that China and Africa have a long history of friendly cooperation, and the Chinese and African economies are extremely complementary and have great potential, and Africa is the most potential important market for Sany.
