On June 24, the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, the 21st Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the 17th Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Engineering were held in the Great Hall of the People. At the meeting, the 2023 National Science and Technology Award was announced.The "Key Technologies of Shanghai Tower Project" project completed by Sany won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.




The National Science and Technology Progress Award is one of the highest awards in the field of science and technology in China, which is awarded to individuals and organizations that have completed and applied innovative scientific and technological achievements and made outstanding contributions to promoting scientific and technological progress and economic and social development.


As a leading enterprise in the equipment manufacturing industry, Sany has always regarded R&D and innovation as the first driving force for the high-quality development of the enterprise, and has made continuous breakthroughs and won many awards. In 2009, Sany undertook the development of a complete set of technology for the construction of 632-meter super high-rise concrete in Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China.




From March 2009 to November 2010, after 1 year and 8 months of scientific research, Sany developed the world's highest pressure concrete pump of 50MPa, forming 6 core technologies of double pump confluence technology, ultra-high pressure wear-resistant technology, eye-cut ultra-high pressure dynamic sealing technology, ultra-high pressure and large flow integrated valve group technology, differential pressure sensing and electro-hydraulic dual-control soft commutation technology and ultra-high pressure dual-controller intelligent control technology, as well as 150A ultra-high pressure wear-resistant and explosion-resistant low-flow resistance concrete conveying pipe. Key technologies such as ultra-high pressure washing technology can effectively solve a series of world problems such as pipe blockage, slurry leakage, pipe bursting, and pipeline disassembly and cleaning difficulties in super high-rise pumping.


On June 15, 2014, the world's highest pressure concrete pump of 50MPa independently developed by Sany successfully pumped C80 ultra-high-strength concrete to a height of 620 meters in Shanghai Tower, and was successfully capped, once again refreshing the world record of vertical pumping height of a single pump!




Winning the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award this time is another supreme affirmation of Sany's R&D and innovation capabilities, and it is also the fourth time that Sany has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the sixth time that Sany has won the National Science and Technology Award.
