The so-called low wind speed area refers to the area with an average annual wind speed of less than 6 m/s, which accounts for more than 60% of China's land area. According to reports, Sany Renewable Energy invested in the development of the product in 2013, and in November 2014, the trial production of SE11520 high-speed double-fed wind turbines rolled off the production line. This is a wind power generation equipment with a wind wheel diameter of 115 meters and a rated power of 2.0MW, which is suitable for medium and low wind speed wind areas with an average annual wind speed of less than 7.5 m/s, so that people in low wind speed areas can also enjoy clean energy.

Moreover, this is a more "smart" wind turbine. According to project manager Huang Kun, SE11520 high-speed double-fed wind turbine, the control part can be adjusted in real time according to the actual environment of the site.

"Most wind turbines have only one control path, but there are multiple paths on the SE11520." Huang Kun said that the fan can automatically adjust the power-speed relationship to adapt to the changes in the environment (such as air density, temperature, humidity) and the influence of manufacturing errors, so that the operating parameters of the fan and the actual environmental conditions, the aerodynamic characteristics and mechanical characteristics of the fan are beautifully matched, effectively improving power generation and making it more intelligent.

The launch of SE11520 has changed the layout of the company's existing products and established the company's product pattern planning and development direction in the next few years. At the Sany Festival at the beginning of this year, SE11520 high-speed double-fed wind turbine won the "First Prize of Sany Science and Technology Progress" due to its outstanding performance and performance.

The emergence of this wind turbine has not only had an impact on Sany Renewable Energy, but also prompted the industry to improve its technology. The diameter of the wind turbine of this unit is 2.0MW model*5655 in the industry, which is more than 10% of the industry. This means that wind turbine blades with larger shapes and better aerodynamic efficiency are needed to match them, and it also means that the wind power industry is about to begin to improve wind turbine blade development technology and material technology.

In 2015, SE11520 high-speed double-fed wind turbines were sold in batches. After the product was launched, it attracted great attention from the industry, and many customers have developed a strong interest in its high power generation, high economic benefits and excellent performance, and orders have been pouring into Sany Renewable Energy. In just one year, the unit's market sales exceeded 700 million, becoming Sany Renewable Energy's flagship product in one fell swoop.
