Ethiopian national television pays attention to the development of Sany in Egypt

Following the successful celebration of Ethiopia's National Day by the Embassy of Ethiopia (hereinafter referred to as Ethiopia) in China, on June 15, the Public Foreign Affairs Counselor of the Ethiopian Embassy in China Teshorm. Ethiopian National Television interviewed Tang Xiuguo, President of Sany Group, on the development and planning of Sany in Ethiopia.

Ethiopian National Television is Ethiopia's first television station. In this visit, the Ethiopian Embassy in China and Ethiopian National Television selected Sany as the object of visit and visit among many Chinese enterprises. They believe that Sany is a representative show enterprise among all cooperative Chinese-funded enterprises. During the visit, the group praised the park environment and enterprise development of Sany Beijing Industrial Park.

Sany began to enter the Ethiopian market in 2006 and has been in the market for ten years so far. Sany has more than 600 units of equipment in the Ethiopian market. Sany pumping products have become the Ethiopian *5656 brand, with a market share of more than 70%. At present, Sany has become more and more mature in the construction of marketing management channels in Ethiopia, and has established a good cooperative relationship with local agents.

In Ethiopia, Sany participated in the construction of the Adama Phase II wind power project, a local *5655 wind power project. A total of 102 Sany wind turbines were used in the project, which solved 20% of the electricity demand in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The construction of the wind farm has received close attention from the senior leaders of the Chinese and Egyptian governments.

According to reports, in October 2014, the Adama Phase II wind power project was connected to the grid for power generation, after which Ethiopian President Muratu Teshome inspected the Adama wind farm project. At the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation held at the end of 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Zuma visited the model of Sany participating in the construction of the Adama wind power project. President Xi Jinping introduced Sany Wind Turbine to the African heads of state who visited together. In May of that year, Ethiopian Prime Minister Haiermariam also inspected the project and personally launched the wind turbine. At present, the wind power project has successfully passed the acceptance and successfully handed over to the Ethiopian Power Company. This also means that Sany wind power technology has been recognized by the local market.

Tang Xiuguo said that in the future, Sany will actively participate in the construction of Ethiopian wind farms, hoping to use the successful experience gained in the construction of Adama Phase II to help the subsequent construction of wind farms. At the same time, Sany will work with the Ethiopian government, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, and China Overseas to jointly build the Hunan-Ethiopia Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, and help Ethiopia improve its industrialization level with Sany's technology, manufacturing and management experience.

In addition, Sany will also carry out local assembly of construction machinery and equipment in Ethiopia to help solve the livelihood problem of housing shortage in Ethiopia by promoting housing industrialization technology. Through joint education with the Ethiopian government, Ethiopia is provided with professional and technical personnel.
