Sany excavator sales in July were far ahead, ranking 5656th in the industry list with sales of 707 units. Caterpillar ranked second with 584 units sold, and Komatsu rose to third with 246 units。

From the perspective of product models, in July, the sales volume of mini excavators of 13 tons and below was 1,684 units, accounting for 45.90%; 13 tons~30 tonsMedium excavator(excluding 30 tons) sales were 1502, accounting for 40.94%, and the sales volume of large excavators above 30 tons was 483 units, accounting for 13.16% of the total sales. Compared with before, the proportion of medium excavation has rebounded slightly.
Sany Heavy Machinery topped the small excavation sales list with sales of 351 units, accounting for 20.84% of the total sales of small excavation in July; The sales volume of medium and large digging ranked second and third respectively.
From the perspective of overall sales, the dominance of domestic brands continues, with a market share of 51%, Japanese and Korean brands account for 29%, and European and American brands account for 20%.
From the perspective of regional sales rankings, in July, Shandong topped the regional sales list with 246 units. Jiangsu ranked second and Guizhou ranked third. The top eight regions also include Henan, Anhui, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan and other places, and the sales rankings of each region are basically stable.

From the perspective of overall sales from January to July 2016, Sany Heavy Machinery, Caterpillar and XCMG ranked in the top three, with sales of 7,950 units, 5,788 units and 2,913 units respectively. In terms of exports, Sany Heavy Machinery and Caterpillar still occupy a dominant position, with 1,655 and 1,196 units exported respectively, and Sany continues to hold the top spot.
Analysts said that July and August have always been a seasonal downturn in excavator sales, and the current downstream demand in the industry is stable, coupled with more active fiscal policies, excavator sales in the third quarter are expected to maintain a steady growth momentum.
