In August, the global*5661 mobile observation tower "Britisch Airways i360" in Brighton, a small seaside town in southeastern England, was officially opened. The tower has a height-to-width ratio of 40:1 and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest tower. Four pump trucks provided by Putzmeister Company, a subsidiary of Sany Heavy Industry, participated in the construction of the project.

The British Airways i360 was designed by Marks Barfield Architects, who designed the London Eye, and the steel tower is 162 meters high and 3.9 meters in diameter. The mobile glass observation hall has a diameter of 18 meters and a vertical lift height of 138 meters, making it the world's first vertical lifting cable car, which can carry 200 passengers and take 20 minutes. Supporting facilities include high-altitude bars, beach house restaurants, children's playgrounds, etc.

The construction cost of the project was £46 million and officially started in July 2014. Its main foundation is a 24x24x3 reinforced concrete structure containing a ring modular reinforcement structure composed of thick steel bars to support the main tower. The foundation was poured in four phases from May to June 2015, with a total pouring volume of 4,070 tons. For the first floor pouring, four Putzmeisters were usedConcrete pump truck, respectively M47-5, M38-5, M36-4 and a spare pump truck. The project required environmentally friendly equipment, and all Putzmeister pump trucks were Euro 6 chassis.
