The building materials of the rockfill dam used in the Lianghekou Hydropower Station are all taken from the local area, and the total filling volume of the entire dam of 43 million square meters is equivalent to the volume of six Beijing "Bird's Nest" stadiums. In the construction of the dam, the Sany 26-ton roller is responsible for the rolling of the clay layer of the core wall, and the 33-ton roller is responsible for the rolling of the rockfill layer. Due to the large construction area and tight construction period, the roller operates 24 hours a day.
