On October 11, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the list of "2021 Private Enterprise R&D Investment 500" and "2021 Private Enterprise Invention Patents", and Sany Group was selected at a high level, ranking 16th and 7th respectively, both ranking first in the special equipment manufacturing industry.
The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce has carried out research on large-scale private enterprises for 23 consecutive years. This year, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce formed a list of "500 private enterprises investing in R&D in 2021" and "500 invention patents of private enterprises in 2021" on the basis of research and analysis of the scientific and technological innovation of 5,785 private enterprises with operating income of more than 500 million yuan in the previous year.
The threshold for entering the list of "500 Private Enterprises with R&D Investment in 2021" is 237 million yuan in R&D investment in the previous year. In 2020, Sany Group invested more than 6 billion yuan in R&D, ranking 16th, and is the only special equipment manufacturing enterprise among the top 20 private enterprises on the list, and the others are mostly computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing, Internet and related service industries, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, etc.
The threshold for entering the list of "2021 500 Invention Patents of Private Enterprises" is to have 49 valid invention patents. By the end of 2020, Sany Group had a total of 9,541 valid patents in China, including 6,893 valid invention patents, ranking among the top 10 and 7th on the list, and was also the only special equipment manufacturing enterprise in the top 10 on the list.
In addition, the report on the innovation status of the top 1,000 private enterprises in R&D investment shows that as of the end of 2020, 42 enterprises have led or participated in the formulation of more than 100 international, national and industry standards, and Sany Group is one of them, leading the development direction of the industry and enhancing the competitiveness of China's manufacturing.
R&D and innovation are the first driving force of Sany, and this high level was selected into the two lists, which once again confirms Sany's great importance and strong strength in R&D and innovation.
Since the beginning of this year, Sany has continued to increase R&D and innovation, and the R&D investment in the first half of the year has exceeded 3 billion yuan, an increase of 80% year-on-year, realizing the independent and controllable of the whole industry chain, basically bidding farewell to the "bottleneck" problem, and bravely becoming a pioneer in scientific and technological innovation.
