The maximum lifting torque of Sany SCC98000TM crawler crane exceeds 98,000 tons/meter, and the maximum lifting capacity is 4,500 tons, which is equivalent to lifting more than 3,000 cars at a time, and the two core data exceed all similar products in the world.
The unprecedented volume is also shocking: the main engine has four tracks and eight drives, the arms are open and 216 meters long, plus the over-raised mast, counterweight, and hook, it covers an area of nearly 4,200 square meters, which is about the size of 10 basketball courts. Qin Xuqi, president of Sany Crawler Crane Research Institute, said that to transport this behemoth, at least 200 trucks with a load of 30 tons are needed.

According to reports, the "world's first crane" that rolled off the production line will be mainly used in the fields of national nuclear power and petrochemical construction.
Industry insiders said that SCC98000TM is another historic contribution of Sany Heavy Industry to the our country crane industry, and its emergence has made China the first country to independently develop a 4,500-ton super-large tonnage mobile crane.
Transformers! Science fiction movies become a reality
This is the crawler crane with the largest lifting torque in the world so far, and it is also one of the most technologically advanced and system integration products in construction machinery products.
Like "Transformers", the ability to "merge and split", Trinity SCC98000TM make the setting in science fiction movies a reality.
Based on modular design and finite element simulation technology, the parts and components of SCC98000TM crawler cranes and other large-tonnage cranes of Sany are as high as 95%. According to actual needs, only a few parts need to be replaced, and this 4,500-ton "Big Mac" can be disassembled into an independently operated 2,000-ton crawler crane to complete complex tasks in the form of joint operation.
Although the body is huge, the operation of the SCC98000TM is by no means inferior to that of small tonnage products. Qin Xuqi introduced that it pioneered the independent power overlifting counterweight system, digital slewing drive system and integrated control system, etc., and the whole machine started and stopped smoothly, and the control accuracy could reach the "millimeter level".
In addition, SCC98000TM crawler crane also has 56 spreader combinations, a variety of boom modes, and the overlifting radius can be adjusted from 28m to 37m, which can be said to be "big and all-round".

At the beginning of this century, our country's large-tonnage crawler lifting equipment has been monopolized by foreign brands, and the R&D and manufacturing level of domestic products is far behind market demand.
Until 2004, Sany took the lead in developing the first 400-ton crawler crane in China, which has driven the technology of domestic large-tonnage crawler cranes to advance by leaps and bounds and began to regain lost ground.
In fact, this is the third time that Sany has set a new tonnage record for the "world's first crane" after 3,600 tons in 2011 and 4,000 tons in 2020.
