According to reports, this is also after the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect.The first batch of excavator products approved for export in the domestic industry。
Transportation time is reduced by two-thirds
The first train carried a total of 25 TEUs, and the main cargo was Sany Heavy Industry's construction machinery, Huaihua's rock sugar orange, Loudi Shuangfeng's small agricultural machinery, etc.
After the train departs, it will go west through Guiyang, Liupanshui, Kunming and other cities, and arrive in Vientiane, Laos, after exiting the customs from Mohan Port in Yunnan, with a total distance of about 2,098 kilometers and a transportation time of about 6 days.
At the departure ceremony, the Sany excavator was fully loaded with 7 TEUs and was ready to go. Wu Minghua, Lao assistance manager of Sany Southeast Asia Region, said that this batch of products has passed customs inspection and quarantine, meets export requirements, and will be mainly used for local agricultural construction.
According to reports, the train is expected to run at a frequency of 2 trains per month in the early stage, and the transportation time can be compressed by two-thirds compared with the road, which will greatly shorten the distance between the two places and send Sany's high-quality products overseas faster.
90% of the trade in goods will have zero tariffs
On December 3, 2021, the China-Laos Railway connecting Kunming and Vientiane and adopting Chinese standards was put into operation. In this "Belt and Road" logo project, a large number of Sany equipment has fully participated in the construction of bridges, tunnels, supporting facilities, etc., and is one of the most important mechanical engineering brands on the project.
