Theoretical foundation: solve the difficulties of welding technology
In view of the welding particularity of high-value components such as rotary drilling rig masts and drill pipes, this training specially invited senior welding experts from technology institutes and manufacturing centers around the following cores:
● Material science: Analyze the key points of matching steel properties and welding processes
● Defect prevention: the causes and avoidance methods of common faults such as weld porosity and cracks
● Process standards: the practical application of national standards and industry standards in pile rig overhaul
Through case analysis, the students systematically mastered key technical theories such as welding parameter setting and stress control, laying a solid foundation for practical operation.
Practical tempering: from "welding" to "fine welding"
At the 1:1 simulation station, the students completed the practical operation of TOP high-frequency fault scenarios such as mast fracture repair and drill pipe wear-resistant layer surfacing welding:
● Precise Seam: Learn high-precision positioning and bevel handling skills
● Multi-layer and multi-pass welding: Master the deformation control method of thick plate welding
● Non-destructive testing: Penetrant testing (PT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) practical drills
"Hand-in-hand" teaching ensures that each student completes the key processes independently and truly realizes the implementation of technology.

Experience sharing: Solve the pain points of regional services
The training specially set up a "fault archive" link, which brought together 20+ typical cases of welding of pile cranes in overhaul factories across the country, and the instructor led the students:
● Analyze the differences in component damage caused by different geological conditions
● Dismantling the welding repair scheme for typical faults such as "drill pipe cracking caused by too hard soil"
● Discuss collaborative strategies for cost optimization and efficiency improvement
Directly hit the pain points of "not daring to pick up and not being able to pick up" in regional services.

Achievements: Comprehensive upgrade of service capabilities
The completion assessment shows that 100% of the trainees have passed the special certification of mast/drill pipe welding, and in the future, they can:
