In the construction machinery industry, after-sales service is not only the embodiment of professional technology, but also the adherence and responsibility of customer commitments.

In June 2025, the Sany excavator after-sales service team successfully completed the emergency assembly task of four SY980 excavators in an open-pit coal mine in Heilongjiang with its professional ability of rapid response and cross-regional collaboration, once again demonstrating the Sany service spirit of "customer first, mission must be achieved".

Cross-regional support and rapid assembly

Recently, 4 SY980 excavators newly purchased by an open-pit coal mine project arrived at the mining area, because the equipment was purchased directly from other provinces and directly entered the mine, the project period was tight, and the equipment needed to be assembled and put into production immediately.

In order to ensure that the equipment was put into use as scheduled, the Sany Heilongjiang Sansheng service team responded quickly and immediately dispatched technical backbones Li Lu and Ju Chengbo from other outlets to rush to help. The two engineers set off on the same day, spanning more than 1,000 kilometers, and immediately met with local service backbones Zhang Jiehai and Ma Yanjun after arriving at the coal mine site that night to form a special team to put into assembly work.

Overcome problems and fight day and night

After arriving at the scene, the Sany service team found that due to the damage caused by the equipment during the early dismantling and transportation, nearly 200 fixing screw holes on the chassis of the four excavators were damaged in a large area, and all of them had to be repaired before they could be assembled. This unexpected situation made the originally tight construction period even more challenging.

In the face of the arduous task, the team quickly reported the situation to the superiors, and after discussing with the leaders, the team immediately decided: regardless of the cost, race against time, and ensure that the equipment is delivered on time. In order to efficiently solve the problem of screw hole repair, the team urgently coordinated Harbin suppliers to transport professional repair tools, and after the tools were delivered to the site overnight, an assembly battle against time officially began.

At this time, the Baoqing area was experiencing high temperatures, with the outdoor temperature reaching 36 degrees and the surface temperature in the mining area exceeding 40 degrees. The service staff braved the scorching sun, got into the sweltering equipment chassis to work, sweat soaked the tooling, and their hands were stained with oil, but no one complained about being tired. Zhang Jiehai guided hole repair with rich experience; Ma Yanjun is meticulous and patient, focusing on the grinding of screw holes to control the calibration and debugging of each screw; Li Lu and Ju Chengbo are young and strong, and take the initiative to take on heavy tasks such as handling parts...... The four people worked together and cooperated tacitly, and were busy from early morning to late at night every day to fully promote the installation progress.

Sany Service mission must be achieved

With their superb technology and perseverance, Sany service engineers overcame the continuous high temperature and bad weather, and completed the high-standard assembly and commissioning of 4 SY980 excavators as scheduled, winning valuable time for the subsequent production of the coal mine.

The project leader spoke highly of it during the acceptance: "At the critical moment, we have to look at Sany's service!" The equipment was delivered on schedule, and we are very satisfied! This recognition confirms the team's professional responsibility and excellence in service quality, and is a vivid practice of "creating value with service". In the future, Sany Service Team will continue to uphold the tenet of "customer first, mission must be achieved", rely on efficient and reliable services, and continue to create greater value for customers.
