The installed power generation capacity of Gansu exceeded 70 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of new energy accounted for more than half.
According to the State Grid Gansu Provincial Electric Power Company, as of the beginning of May this year, the installed power generation capacity of Gansu reached 70.71 million kilowatts, breaking through the 70 million kilowatt mark, of which the installed capacity of new energy accounted for 53.8%.
Gansu has outstanding wind and solar energy resource endowments, and its development and utilization are constantly accelerating. At present, 1 10 million kilowatt wind power base and 4 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation bases have been built." Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, Gansu Province has added 14.51 million kilowatts of installed power generation capacity, of which 14.37 million kilowatts of new energy have been added, accounting for 99.0%, and the proportion of new energy installed capacity has surpassed that of thermal power, jumping to become the largest installed power source in Gansu. According to the "14th Five-Year Plan" new energy development goals, this year, the new grid-connected installed capacity of new energy power generation projects in Gansu will exceed 12 million kilowatts.
