Yunnan's 2026 incremental mechanism bidding results: wind power 0.335 yuan/kWh, photovoltaic 0.329 yuan/kWh

According to the notice on the 2026 mechanism electricity price bidding work of incremental new energy projects in Yunnan Province, the scope of participants in this bidding is new energy projects that have completed government approval or filing, have been connected to the grid at full capacity, or promised to be connected to the grid at full capacity from January 1 to December 31, 2026 and have not been included in the scope of mechanism implementation, as well as overseas new energy projects that meet the same conditions, can provide bidding registration materials with the same effect, and are included in the weight assessment of renewable energy consumption responsibility in the province.

The bidding parameters are divided into two types of projects: wind power and photovoltaic projects, and the bidding is divided into three stages of mechanism electricity and mechanism price information, and the price of the declaration mechanism needs to be increased monotonically according to the segments. When the project that does not bid for the mechanism electricity in this bidding participates in the subsequent annual bidding, the upper limit of the declared electricity of a single project will be reduced accordingly on the basis of the specified upper limit, and the reduction will be 10 percentage points each time.

It is understood that on September 29, 2025, the Kunming Power Trading Center organized the mechanism electricity price bidding for incremental new energy projects connected to the grid in Yunnan Province from June 1 to December 31, 2025, with a total of 218 project entities and 529 new energy projects participating in the application.

509 projects won the bid, with the electricity price of the clearing mechanism of photovoltaic projects of 0.33 yuan/kWh and the electricity price of wind power projects of 0.332 yuan/kWh.
