Signing nearly 200 million large orders, Sany will build more than 1,000 sets of public rental housing for Changsha

Recently, the relevant person in charge of Sany revealed that Sany Heavy Industry signed an order of nearly 200 million yuan and will use PC residential industrialization technology (hereinafter referred to as PC) to build more than 1,000 sets of public rental housing for Changsha. As a kind of government affordable housing, the construction of public rental housing has always been the focus of social attention.

More than 1,000 sets of public rental housing will be built in half a year

It is understood that the order includes two projects: the second phase of Yitong New Town (also known as Airport Lang Garden) and the third phase of Langli Public Rental Housing, Airport Langyuan is located in Huanghua Town, Changsha County, and the third phase of Langli Public Rental Housing is located in Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. The two projects totaling nearly 70,000 square meters will mainly provide public rental housing for employees of surrounding enterprises after completion, of which more than 1,000 sets of public rental housing will be built in the second phase of Yitong New City alone.

"It only took us two months to negotiate the project." According to the person in charge, because the construction is government affordable housing, the customer is very cautious about the choice of the construction unit. In order to meet the high standard requirements of customers, Sany PC department redesigned the architectural drawings, with the help of Sany's unique advantages in the field of PC housing industrialization, improved the utilization rate of resources, and finally successfully impressed customers with its comprehensive housing construction capabilities superior to those of its peers. In this regard, Dai Xuejie, head of the PC department of Sany, introduced that in fact, the houses built by PC are equal to or better than the buildings built by traditional methods in terms of concrete strength, seismic resistance, service life, etc.

"First of all, the concrete used in PC houses has a higher starting point." Dai Xuejie said that according to the relevant national standards, the starting point of the concrete used in PC buildings is "430", which is one level higher in strength than the "420" concrete used in traditional construction buildings. In terms of seismic resistance and service life, the current state uses the same set of standards for PC houses and traditional construction houses, which means that PC houses can only pass the verification if the requirements are met.

It is worth mentioning that in the construction process, the steel connection mode of the building directly affects the seismic ability of the house, and Sany PC adopts the first steel bar connection method in China, which makes the seismic resistance of Sany PC housing equal or higher than that of traditional buildings.

"Sany PC also has the huge advantage of 'five sections and one environmental protection'." Dai Xuejie said that compared with traditional construction methods, Sany PC can save 80% of water resources, 60% of energy, 20% of materials, 20% of land and 70% of man-hours, and can also reduce 76% of exhaust emissions and 90% of construction waste, which is very in line with the trend of green buildings in the industry.

Relying on manufacturing advantages, the business has grown by leaps and bounds

Since the company entered the PC field in 2013, it has been "moving". After the Sany PC production line was listed, it attracted the attention of more than 30 enterprises such as Tianjin Residential, China Construction Eighth Bureau, and China Construction Third Bureau, and finally reached cooperation

In June this year, the envoys of 36 African countries in China visited Sany Heavy Industry, and the envoys of Algeria, Mauritius and many other countries in China made on-site orders when they visited Sany PC factory. In 2015, Sany set up a PC working group in North Africa to conduct an in-depth study of the housing market in Algeria, Nigeria and other countries.
