Hunan Daily: The Governor of Georgia visited Sany Changsha headquarters

Today, Georgia Governor Nathan Deere and his entourage came to Changsha from across the ocean and signed an agreement on provincial-state friendly and cooperative relations with our province. Because Sany is a Chinese construction machinery company invested in Georgia, Nathan Deere also made a special trip to visit the Changsha headquarters of Sany Heavy Industry and held talks with Liang Wengen, chairman of Sany Heavy Industry.

Hunan's relationship with Georgia began in 2007. In September of that year, Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and the Georgia government officially signed an investment memorandum and decided to invest 60 million US dollars to build a R&D and manufacturing base in the state. In February this year, Zhou Qiang, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, visited Georgia, attended the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of the Sany American Company, and unveiled the plaque of Sany American Company. Zhou Qiang said that the establishment of Sany Heavy Industry America has built a bridge of cooperation between Hunan Province and Georgia, and he looks forward to the continued deepening of cooperation between Hunan Province and Georgia to achieve win-win development for both sides.

As a representative of Hunan enterprises, Sany's construction and development in Georgia has deepened the Georgia government's goodwill towards Hunan enterprises. Since its investment in 2007, despite the global financial crisis, Sany has completed the first phase of fixed asset investment of more than $40 million in Peachtree City, Georgia, employing more than 130 American employees. At present, about 70% of Sany America's employees are in the United States, and most of them are the industry's top R&D personnel. * In the past two years, Sany USA has invested a total of 12.58 million US dollars to develop off-road that is widely welcomed in the North American marketcrane, crawler cranes and other new products, of which crawler cranes have been sold in batches. This year, Sany's sales in the United States can reach 100 million yuan.

At Sany's Changsha headquarters, Nathan Deere visited the company's new factory and personally operated Sany's 62-meter pump truck, and was full of praise for Sany's high-quality products. He said that Sany Heavy Industry is a very strong and ambitious company, and he believes that Sany America will become a truly American company and will bring greater development opportunities to the local community.

Liang Wengen said that in the next step, Sany America will further exert its international competitive advantage and invest an additional $25 million in the construction of a research and development building in Georgia to attract more local employees and make new contributions to the local economic development.
