In September 2007, Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and the Georgia government officially signed an investment memorandum and decided to invest 60 million US dollars to build a R&D and manufacturing base in Georgia. On February 28, 2011, Zhou Qiang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited Georgia, attended the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of the project of Sany America, unveiled the plaque of Sany America, and said that the establishment of Sany America has built a bridge of cooperation between Hunan Province and Georgia, which is of great symbolic significance.

Since its investment in 2007, Sany Heavy Industry has completed the first phase of fixed asset investment of more than $40 million in Peachtree City, Georgia as planned, despite the global financial crisis. At present, Sany USA has more than 130 employees, of which about 70% are local employees in the United States, and most of them are the industry's top R&D personnel. At the same time, in the past two years, Sany America has invested a total of 12.58 million US dollars in research and development, and has developed an off-road that is widely welcomed in the North American marketcrane, crawler cranes and other new products, this year will achieve sales of 100 million yuan, plans to achieve sales of 1.6 billion yuan by 2015. "In five years, the North American market will become an important product sales market for Sany." Liang Wengen, chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, said.
