The acquisition of the world's construction machinery giant German elephant by Sany Heavy Industry from China is indeed incredible in the eyes of many people. Does the "Made in China" from this company really have its own world on the global stage?
It is reported that in the current list of high-rise buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa in the United Arab Emirates, the Shanghai Tower, the second, the Shanghai World Financial Center, the fifth, and the Hong Kong International Commerce Center, which ranks sixth, all have Sany Equipment involved in the construction.
Burj Khalifa is a world*5656 high-rise building located in Dubai, UAE, with 150 floors and 704.9 meters of steel structure concrete. In 2004, 21 sets of Sany pumping equipment representing the highest level in China were successfully delivered to Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, known as "Hong Kong in the Middle East", to participate in the construction of the world's 5656 high-rise building - "Burj Khalifa".
The Shanghai World Financial Center, the world's fifth-tallest building, has a main body height of 492 meters and was completed in 2008. During the construction, Sany ultra-high pressure trailer pump poured the pumping capacity of more than 30,000 cubic meters of concrete on the floor of the main building for 40 hours without interruption, ensuring the high efficiency of the construction, and creating a world record of vertical concrete pumping by a single pump to an altitude of 492 meters when the main building was capped. Sany Pump has won the praise of the construction party for its strong pumpability and excellent stability. In addition to the two HBT90CH-2135D concrete pumps, another 8 Sany pump trucks participated in the foundation pouring of the project, successfully completing the task of continuously pouring tens of thousands of square meters of concrete.
The world's sixth tallest building, the Hong Kong International Commerce Centre, is an 118-storey mixed-use building that is the next phase of the Kowloon Station development in Hong Kong, with a usable floor height of 490 metres. In July 2005, the construction of the Hong Kong International Commerce Centre began, and Sany Equipment was stationed at the site. The whole project is mainly undertaken by 4 Sany HBT90CH2135D concrete trailer pumps and two wall-climbing 32-meter distribution poles. Zheng Guifeng, the contractor of the International Commerce Centre, said that in the process of super high-rise buildings, Sany pipeline installation technology and super high-rise washing technology have created value for them.
In fact, as early as September 20, 2002, at the construction site of the Hong Kong International Financial Center, the HBT90C concrete pump developed by Sany successfully pumped the C60 high-grade concrete single pump to an elevation of 406 meters, creating a Guinness World Record for China's construction machinery products and a world record for vertical pumping of a single pump.
In 2004, Sany Heavy Industry PQ190 motor grader and Caterpillar CAT120H motor grader competed in the Red Port Oilfield in Kazakhstan, establishing the image of Sany Construction Machinery in the Kazakhstan market.
In January 2004, Kazakhstan Customer Highway Co., Ltd. purchased a Sany PQ190 motor grader, which was mainly used for road repair in Honggang Oilfield. Because there are also equipment from internationally renowned manufacturers such as Caterpillar at the same construction site, customers have very high requirements for the performance of Sany motor graders. After all-round comparison, in the whole day of 8 hours of work, Sany PQ190 grader has been far ahead, both in terms of operational performance and work efficiency, has reached the international leading level. Especially in terms of operation and maintenance, the operators on the construction site reported that Sany's motor grader is not only simple to operate, comfortable to drive but also more convenient to maintain. Alleg, the person in charge of the customer site, said that they did not believe in the quality of China's construction machinery products, but after several months of trial and comparison with other manufacturers' equipment, they have now fully identified with Sany products and gradually identified with Chinese products.
In 2006, the 252-meter-tall Empire State Building of India was topped out. The concrete pumping height of the building is 215 meters, and the pumping capacity is 60,000 cubic meters. The equipment users expressed their admiration for the Sany HBT80C-2118D trailer pump that can fully meet the construction needs, and ensure the height of pumped concrete, as well as the quantity of pumped concrete. At present, in the construction of another 320-meter-high building in India, Sany has 2 high-pressure trailer pumps and 2 distribution poles to participate in the construction.
In 2007, Sany SY5255-THB37m pump truck showed its skills in Spain. A Spanish machinery rental company used to pour concrete for the project of the Central University Hospital in the province of Asturias, Spain. The Central University Hospital construction project in Oviedo, the capital city of the province of Asturias, Spain, is one of the top ten construction projects in Spain, and will become a hospital with a scale of 5,655 in Spain. The project, which began in 2005 and is expected to be completed in 2012, is expected to use 300,000 cubic meters of concrete. Three SY5255-THB37m pump trucks were put on trial in July 2007 and have been widely used in major local engineering projects and have been widely recognized and praised by the other party. It is worth mentioning that these three pump trucks are the first batch of pump trucks that have obtained official licenses for road and construction in EU countries.
In 2008, the world's *5661 Ferris wheel was officially put into operation in Singapore's Marina City. Also known as the "Singapore Flyer", the Ferris wheel is 165 meters tall and has a total of 28 cockpits, each 4 meters wide and 7 meters long, and can accommodate 26 people, allowing visitors to enjoy a 360-degree view from the Ferris wheel.
