Recently, Hunan Sany Industrial Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as Sany Institute of Technology) and Harmony University of Malaysia held a "cloud signing" ceremony for the joint construction of a training base project. The signing ceremony was attended by the Special Envoy for East Asia of the Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Charlie Del R, the Chairman of the Malaysian University of Peace Ni Zhengli, and the First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, Feng Jun.

According to reports, Harmony University Malaysia is one of the founding members of GDTA and is now the only university granted by the Malaysian government that can provide dual teaching mode courses at the same time.

According to the agreement, the two sides will focus on advanced manufacturing, rely on the teaching and scientific research teams of the two universities, and carry out the construction of the "Belt and Road" international engineering talent training base and the engineering "Luban Workshop" construction project in Malaysia and other countries.

According to the division of labor, Harmony University Malaysia will be responsible for providing school qualifications, government licenses, talent training programs and syllabuses, teaching venues and facilities and conditions. Sany Institute of Technology is responsible for selecting excellent teachers, providing training experimental equipment and equipment procurement.

The two sides also agreed to strengthen the exchange of visits and exchanges among teachers at the school, and to cooperate in the joint training and academic upgrading of full-time students through cooperative education, mutual credit recognition and 3+2+1 bachelor's and master's programs.

According to reports, the first phase of the project plans to train 30 construction machinery technical talents for Malaysia, and will gradually radiate to ASEAN and the "Belt and Road" neighboring countries.

On behalf of the Malaysian government, the Special Envoy for East Asia of the Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Richard Derrio, congratulated the signing of the agreement. He pointed out that education is an important measure to eradicate poverty, promote economic growth and benefit the people, and hoped that this signing will further promote the education cooperation between the two countries to a new high.

Feng Jun, First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, expressed the hope that the signing of this agreement will promote China-Malaysia education cooperation, strengthen the docking of vocational education between the two countries, serve the economic and social development of both sides, and promote people-to-people ties and win-win cooperation.

Hu Songqiang, Director of the Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, said that the "Cloud Signing" event fully demonstrated the confidence and sincerity of the two universities in seizing opportunities and mutually beneficial cooperation, and demonstrated the vigorous vitality and profound impact of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the construction of a China-Malaysia community with a shared future.

It is understood that Sany Institute of Technology is the "Hunan Province Foreign Labor Service Characteristic Training Base", which has cultivated a total of 46 international students and exchange students from 11 countries along the "Belt and Road" such as India and Malaysia, and trained more than 300 overseas technical and skilled talents for "going out" enterprises, which has effectively promoted the international dissemination of Chinese culture and skills.
