In April, the domestic new energy heavy truck market sold 2,276 vehicles, an increase of 103% year-on-year, creating the highest monthly sales and the highest growth rate in the new energy heavy truck market this year.
Among them, Sany won the monthly sales list of new energy heavy trucks with an excellent performance of 642 units, which is also the first time that the monthly sales of new energy heavy trucks in the new energy heavy truck market will exceed 600 units in 2023.
From the perspective of market share, from January to April 2023, Sany New Energy Heavy Trucks sold a total of 1,405 units, a year-on-year increase of 83%, and a cumulative share of 20.68%, an increase of 7.57 percentage points over the same period last year, standing at the top of the cumulative sales list of new energy heavy trucks this year.
In the new energy tractor market, which is the most concerned segment of the new energy heavy truck market, Sany new energy tractors also performed well.
In April, Sany won the monthly list of new energy tractors with a performance of 267 units. This is the second time that Sany has won the monthly sales list of new energy tractors in 2023, and it is also the first time that the monthly sales of enterprises in the new energy tractor market will exceed 200 units in 2023.
Behind the hot market performance is strong product strength.
On June 6, the Sany Magic Tower 1165 electric heavy truck opened the challenge of the longest distance of a semi-trailer electric truck on a single charge, and finally broke the challenge target (800 kilometers) with 817.5 kilometers, successfully challenged and became the holder of a new world record.
